BPA is dangerous.

BPA, bisphenol-A, is a compound found in plastics and other products. You may remember hearing about it a few years ago when it was eliminated from baby products, especially bottles. Mothers were outraged that their babies were ingesting this compound, a known endocrine disruptor linked to breast cancer, early puberty, obesity and the list goes on. I am so grateful those mothers took charge and challenged the baby product companies to clean up their act.

But why stop there? Why, knowing what we know, are companies still using this product and why, WHY, are we still allowing it to happen?

…people who ate one can of soup every day for five days increased the levels of BPA in their bodies by 1000% over people who ate freshly made soup for the same five days.”
That’s just absurd. Seriously wrong. Now of course not everyone is eating canned soup every day, but this stuff is in other cans too- soda, beans, tomatoes, is it canned? It likely has BPA.

Do you think this as absurd as I do? Why or why not?
